A Russian, actually Soviet, western set in America? Quite an interesting combination that surprisingly works quite well. I guess I've seen too many westerns to appreciate the film any more than I did. It's good, but it's not great, and it didn't really grab me either. Honestly, it felt a bit too much like theater rather than a real western to me.
