Sinopsis(1)
Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, un grupo de soldados se encuentran juntos en el célebre campo de prisioneros Stalag 17. Pasan la mayor parte del tiempo planeando cómo ayudarse para escapar, pero cuando mueren dos prisioneros en un intento de evasión, queda claro que hay un espía entre ellos. William Holden obtuvo el Oscar por su interpretación de un soldado cínico y sarcástico que se dedica la mayor parte del tiempo a maquinar chantajes y tratos con los alemanes para conseguir privilegios especiales.
