La película de ciencia ficción más aburrida de los últimos diez, veinte, treinta años gana el premio... Pasajero Oculto. El cine de ciencia ficción íntimo como Moon puede funcionar perfectamente e incluso resultar emocionante. Pero aquí, una vez más, Netflix arruinó algo malditamente. Aburrido, aburrido, aburrido. No quiero menospreciar la lucha por el oxígeno, pero ¿construir un film de casi dos horas en torno a esa trama? Pérdida de tiempo.

A decently directed procedural sci-fi with a simple premise and a bit too much of a cliffhanger ending. The film has a weaving monologue with the universe and a treatise on the importance of algae and humanity in extreme situations. According to the reviews, it's also a film that causes collective blindness.

Stowaway is in many ways a woefully underdeveloped and unoriginal sci-fi survival drama that isn't even entertaining enough for what it's trying to sell. It's at least problematic to convince viewers of the authenticity of the portrayal of the astronauts' behavior in the face of a relentless crisis, while shamefully failing to resolve too many of the rational questions it raises. I take rocket science and mathematical calculations as part of space travel in general as the highest level of accuracy and rigor, and since the snags occur from the first few minutes, it's difficult to chew through a very rigid plot with that unexplained question for 2 tedious hours. I also had difficulty grasping the roles of all 4 characters, with one thrown onto the boat to represent the crisis cowering shyly in the corner, fearfully awaiting resolution, and on the other side the expendable captain who was only there to tear her hair out with stress. The story surprised me in places by unexpectedly dragging out the viewer's expectation of "Now it's got to go wrong!" only to then slap a sticker on it in the form of the most banal twist of genre anthologies. While the spacey visuals are magical in the climbing sequence, overall they don't crush impressions like other more familiar and spectacular predecessors. In the final minutes, the audience is split between criticizing or praising the work because of the dueling characters representing opposite poles: Humanity vs. Calculation, and depending on which side of the barricade you settle on, the final rather unfinished message will have resonating power. My personal impression remained somewhere in the range of "such a shame, Anna Kendrick's acting" and "is that all?", tickling my altruistic soul just at the heel.

BLM. A pleasant watch. That’s right, it is strange that he got inside and even survived take off, but otherwise this is a lovely, stylish space exercise. The visually captivating space rope climbing sequence is definitely the high point of the movie. The actors are fine - a decent Netflix offering.

A bit of the Cimrman "I suggest eating dogs" in space, which I'd give a fifth star if it answered the literally hanging question: "How the hell did he get there?" In all respects, this is a film exactly for me, i.e., quiet, not full of unnecessary effects and relying on the actors (the absolutely excellent Anna Kendrick) and the fact that you will find yourself in their situation and try to think for yourself how you would resolve it.
