June 1940. Odile flees Paris with her two children. Lost in the countryside, they are rescued by a feral youth who leads them to an abandoned house. Ačkoli André Téchiné natočil drama z druhé světové války, jde v podstatě o komorní příběh matky s dvěma dětmi a tajemného mladíka. Režisér vhodně zvolil dva hlavní představitele, na kterých film stojí, francouzský supertalent Gaspard Ulliel a jedna z nejuznávanějších hereček, Emanuelle Béart, která opět kývla na spolupráci s André Téchiném. Výsledkem je rozhodně ne zbytečně strávených devadesát minut.
