Sinopsis(1)

Durante miles de años, los hombres han recurrido a las palomas para transportar mensajes en tiempos de necesidad. En la II Guerra Mundial, las palomas jugaron un papel crucial para las fuerzas Aliadas entregando despachos claves desde detrás de las líneas enemigas. Durante una oscura y tormentosa noche en el Canal de La Mancha, vemos a tres miembros del Servicio Real de Palomas Mensajeras (SRPM) en ruta para entregar sus mensajes. Sin embargo, cuando tienen a la vista los famosos Acantilados Blancos de Dover, una sombra negra cae con estrépito para detenerlas. De vuelta al cuartel general en Londres, llega la noticia de que ninguna de las palomas mensajeras ha conseguido llegar a su destino. Las pérdidas provocadas por los halcones alemanes que vigilan el Canal han sido grandes y que se necesitan nuevos pájaros para completar las menguadas filas del SRPM. (Aurum Producciones)

inglés A pleasant appetizer with an acceptably patriotic message, but unfortunately, also with half of the jokes falling into the category of vulgar humor. However, when I imagine the director's cut version, which lasts almost two hours, I feel a sense of dread. ()

inglés I unfortunately was at the cinema with my small children during the premiere of Valiant and I must say that it was a mistake. The basic idea and the skeleton of the story are solid, but the specific screenplay and characterization of the individual characters are not. The core problem lies in placing the story on the front line of World War II and attempting to create a spectacle clearly intended for younger children. Some associations are quite funny, but they are mostly appreciated by adults. Many attempts at humor fall flat and the characters are only superficially outlined. Overall impression: 40%.
