Austin Powers es un agente secreto de los años 60 que, tras ser congelado, vuelve a la vida en los años 90. En esta nueva entrega de sus aventuras, Austin Powers se enfrentará con nuevos villanos, pero deberá volver a luchar con el Doctor Maligno, su máximo enemigo. El único episodio de la serie que he visto, y no quiero otro. Una comedia llena de chistes en la que apenas sonreí, y aun así solo por «alivio», porque al menos algo ahogaba el espasmo infantil de todo lo demás. Rowan Atkinson interpreta a un imbécil, pero es gracioso con cada gesto, expresión facial, tono de voz. Adam Sandler interpreta a un imbécil y es gracioso a través de la torpeza admitida, sabiendo que no es tan gracioso. Pero Mike Myers y sus chistes NO SON divertidos. No inspiran nada más que el asombro de "¿pero esto qué es?". Incluso las interjecciones de parodia de películas conocidas son utilizan por sí mismos, sin conexión con la película.

Dr Evil and his mini-me are not very good, they are actually more awkward than funny. Austin Powers isn’t very funny, either, but those beautiful babes around him are worth it. There are a couple of funny scenes, the expletive gags are surprisingly tolerable, I even laughed at one of them. Rather than a comedy, it's one big ball of crazy. I like crazy movies, so I survived Austin unscathed, but those three stars are probably too much.

Uncontrollable burst of sketches that cannot be defended against. It requires calm, good mood, original delivery, and it can only end with either love or hate. Whenever Dr. Evil appears, I am not far from tears of laughter and I realize that I will probably occasionally quote this overblown madness until the end of my life. The fat scoundrel is a misstep that prevents the highest rating, but the explosive Myers and the hot Heather Graham save everything else.

The second Austin Powers film is much lamer than the first one. That's not to say I didn't have fun, but it wouldn’t kill the filmmakers to show more effort and not just blatantly try to cash in on the success of the first film.

But yeah, it's sometimes so stupid that you simply can't criticize it much. There are great jokes here and Mike Myers ultimately suits me incredibly well with his sense of humor. But without Heather Graham, it would simply be a half-baked film. It's incredible how beautiful that woman is to look at. And she also has a sense of humor, which is good.
