Natalie, Dylan y Alex (Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore y Lucy Liu) son Los ángeles de Charlie, tres agentes secretos con tanta fuerza como glamour que trabajan para la agencia de Charles Townsend. Ésta vez su misión es recuperar unos anillos que han desaparecido y que contiene una valiosísima información acerca del Plan de Protección de Testigos del FBI. El principal sospechoso es un "ángel caído" (Demi Moore), una antigua compañera de la agencia de Charlie. Tras el asesinato de cinco de las personas que estaban dentro del Plan, sólo los Ángeles pueden detener el asesino, y para conseguirlo tendrá que utilizar todas sus armas. (Columbia TriStar)

La acción es confusa y neurótica, una parodia de las películas ridículas, con una trama prácticamente inexistente. Si alguien cambiara el orden de las bobinas de celuloide en el cine, no se notaría en absoluto. Si esta película es un éxito comercial, marcará el principio del fin del buen entretenimiento cinematográfico estadounidense, porque para hacer algo así no hace falta más que un gran presupuesto. Menos mal que moriré con la generación actual y no seré testigo de una época en la que el 90% de la producción de Hollywood siga esta ecuación.

Yeah, it’s awful bollocks. But can I honestly be mad at a film that openly admits its awfulness in every scene, doesn't take itself seriously at all, and is filmed at a killer pace that doesn't let you get bored? Sometimes, with a certain amount of detachment, you can actually enjoy this kind of bullshit. Which is not to say that I seek out this type of entertainment.

Bigger, rougher, and more action-packed may not always be harmful and ruin the impression of the first part. With the angels, there is nothing to ruin because I avoid the first one by several kilometers. The stupid bantering is surprisingly bearable this time, and the action is not only watchable but even great. Moreover, the central trio gained a lot of sex appeal with a shovel.

I enjoyed these Angels perhaps even more than the first one, it's just a pity Bill Murray didn't attend, though he probably knew why. In other words, it's bullshit, but beautiful. And there’s John Cleese. And Demi Moore. Yeah, and Lucy, Drew, and Cameron...there's a lot there:-)))
