En 1840 en los Cayos de Florida hay trabajo tanto para los honestos rescatadores (como los Claibornes) como para los piratas de la calaña de King Cutler, que hace naufragar goletas para hacerse con su carga. This is such a bizarre genre hybrid, where it eventually comes down to a battle with a huge octopus, that it's simply impossible for me not to like "Pirates of the Caribbean". It's definitely not a perfect movie, it's occasionally too lighthearted, overall a bit over the top, and jumps from one storyline to another, even though it's kind of obvious how it ends, but it's still something worth seeing.
