In a quiet suburban town in the summer of 1958, two recently orphaned sisters are placed in the care of their mentally unstable Aunt Ruth (Blanche Baker). inglés The American movie adaptation of The Girl Next Door was not a great success. It did not have a strong and oppressive atmosphere. It was also missing the interesting characters that had incredible depth. With The Girl Next Door, you realize that sometimes a literal translation of a book just does not work, and this is very literal. In addition, the movie just does not feel right. I recommend reading the book because it would have a bigger impact on you. ()
