Young People F***ing

A diferencia de American Pie y comedias similares, ésta -más una excursión que una comedia- trata puramente del acto, desde el «vamos a hacerlo» inicial hasta el cigarrillo posterior al orgasmo. Este enfoque elimina todo lo innecesario, dejando solo lo esencial, presentado en cinco formas diferentes, entre las cuales cada espectador (sexualmente activo) puede encontrar algo que le interese, ya sea en un episodio en particular o en los detalles de varios de ellos (dependiendo de la experiencia que uno tenga). La película retrata acertadamente las situaciones individuales y no se anda con rodeos, pero no es demasiado sencilla ni primitiva, y los tíos son graciosos y las tías están BUENAS. Una relajante película, que invita a los espectadores a «hacerlo» ellos mismos. (05.11.2008)

Not a great film or a great comedy. The film works more as a guide to the sex act for various types of relationships. There is a little something for a wide range of viewers, they only forgot about homosexuals (except for sperm donors) and various deviants, so you won’t get to see any children or pets, for instance. I thought the premise was good, it just could have been handled slightly better, but I wasn't bored and had a few good laughs, so why not? (28.12.2017)

I don't really know what to think about this. It was sometimes a bit funny, it wasn't too daring, everything was handled quite decently, which is also nice, but with this title, one would expect maybe a little more than just a romantic movie about love that manifests through sex and certain mishaps. Although sincere and without unnecessary plot diversions, it still remains mostly detached from reality. Five well-worn stories that won't grab your heart, but will occasionally make you laugh – maybe – sometimes unintentionally, sometimes intentionally. In the end, I might prefer the more cinematic aspects, because when I see mini-stories like in Kill Bill (but at night, in Chinese, and backwards), the romantic anecdotes around are them quite nice in other cases, and occasionally they have something to offer.
