Bastante comedido para Apatow, e irónicamente demasiado poco cómico. Los actores son buenos (tanto Sandler como Rogen realmente actúan) y como declaración de la vida de un actor de comedia, es suficiente, aunque la segunda mitad es prácticamente sobre nada. Y el metraje es matador.

Adam Sandler -> Eric Bana: «Si me pareciera a ti, estaría en casa todo el día haciendo sexo con mí mismo.» Una de las pocas frases que te harán reír en esta triste comedia. Pero te sentirás cómodo con sus personajes y de eso se trata. Sobre las relaciones, la necesidad de tener a alguien cerca, sobre la importancia de los amores pasados y que ser famoso y rico no significa que uno no pueda no estar solo. Mas bien al contrario. Apatow remata perfectamente la mayoría de los diálogos, revela la vida detrás del oropel de Hollywood y deja que los actores brillen «internamente». Pero el metraje de dos horas y media es realmente demasiado para este género.

I like Adam Sandler and I'll probably always root for him. This film has a bit of an overlong runtime, and by the time it deals with the main character's relationship with his former love, I found it too boring. Otherwise, there was a great cast of actors who were a good match for each other, and I had a good time with them.

I couldn't watch it, so I turned it off about halfway through the movie. Sticking with a 2.5-hour long comedy that is also not funny at all is a superhuman feat for me. Plus, I couldn't watch my favorite actor Adam Sandler turn into a complete jerk in my eyes... Boo!

More of an existential drama than a comedy. And Sandler is good at acting this type of guy and it’s a joy to follow his verbal exchanges with Rogen. The excessive length bothered me a little (I was glued to my armchair in the end), but on the other hand, I don’t know what I would have left out, because I really enjoyed myself the whole time. I also enjoyed the many star cameos. Personally, that Aussie Oz Eric Bana got to me most. :-)
