Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), un caza recompensas venido a menos, obtiene el trabajo de sus sueños al serle asignada la búsqueda de su ex mujer, la reportera Nicole Hurly (Jennifer Aniston), que se ha saltado su libertad condicional. Él piensa que el trabajo representará dinero fácil, pero cuando Nicole logra zafarse para seguir una pista sobre el encubrimiento de un asesinato, Milo se da cuenta de que entre él y Nicole nada nunca es sencillo. Los ex están continuamente pisándose el uno al otro, hasta que se encuentran ambos huyendo por salvar sus vidas. Una decisión muy demorada entre un romance humorístico sobre el acercamiento de una pareja pendenciera y una trama criminal con mafiosos. La presencia de Peter «araña que atrapó dos moscas» Green complacerá, pero las dos líneas no funcionarían ni solas, y mucho menos juntas. El público femenino que asistió a la proyección se divirtió de todos modos, los hombres estaban locos por salir de allí.

Yuck. Boring. The only two reasons I watched the Bounty Hunter till the end was its rather good plot and the nice duo of actors in the main roles. Otherwise, the movie is a string of unfunny and only sometimes slightly amusing scenes that don’t make any sense.

So the rumors didn't lie... The Bounty Hunter is a really, really bad movie. This is another comedy that lacks jokes and was meant to mainly attract audiences through familiar names. But what good are famous names when one of them is Gerard Butler, a man who should stick to beating Persians over the head and similar roles, and should definitely not be involved in comedies. His stilted delivery kills even the slightest opportunity to create a joke that someone else could have gotten out of a partnership with Jennifer Aniston... someone with comedic talent. Alas.

Since I like Gerard Butler, this movie didn't sit well with me at all. I was looking forward to seeing it in the cinema, my girlfriend and I went to see it, but there wasn't really anything to laugh at throughout the whole time. If it wasn't for that storyline about him being a bounty hunter, it would really be about nothing. One of the reasons why I don't like Jennifer Aniston. Another reason is most of her other roles.
