This endearing film looks at the world through the eyes of a young boy (Gabriel) coping with his parent's bitter divorce. Helping him through this challenge are the stories created by his grandfather that ultimately lead him into a world of Aliens and Fantasy where his alter ego – a hero named Nethiah, vanquishes his foes, saves the world ultimately helping - Gabriel conquer his life at home and find hope again! Grandpa, that was such a good story. Well, the problem is, it wasn't. The boy's parents are getting divorced and the boy escapes into the fantasy of a sci-fi fairytale that his grandpa tells him. That story is only meant to help the boy gain courage and tell his parents what he thinks. The whole thing is actually a moral lesson about divorcing parents. Unfortunately, the story itself is terribly weak and the acting performances of some actors definitely do not help. The sci-fi itself doesn't work at all.
