inglés They dressed her in black, gave her buns, put her on a broom, and she was off to the world for her experience with her black cat, Jiji. Being an eight-year-old, it's a pretty traumatic experience – the one with the crows and then Jiji, the thunderstorms, the airships, and I don't know what else, the kid never gets a proper breather, but that's okay because it's actually melancholy in a way, it ends well (it can't end any other way!), it's not too challenging, and at the same time you won't be considered weird by anyone once it's over and you're be smiling. Typical Ghibli for kids and adults alike. It would be a shame to miss it. A nice fairy tale. ()

inglés A beautifully positive film. It doesn't take much effort to imagine that today, while delivering packages, Kiki would face a malevolent dark witch bent on her life and world domination, and in addition to unraveling a mysterious family history, the film would be two hours long, full of action sequences, and a sequel would be inevitable. But nothing like that was apparently deemed necessary by Hayao Miyazaki in 1989. And that's only a good thing. ()

inglés Kiki is a beautiful fairy tale that oozes optimism, kindness, and solidarity. In a time when people are making faces at themselves, unkind and selfless, this huge wave of positivity is a balm to the soul. It doesn't always take deep thoughts, tangled plots, or defeating great evil to make an excellent work. After finishing it, I felt like baking something right away. Perfect for kids, a nice break for adult anime fans. ()
