Tras un accidente provocado por meteoritos, parte de una estación espacial soviética abandonada impacta contra los túneles del metro de Nueva York. Entre los restos del siniestro, nace una nueva especie de araña venenosa y tremendamente agresiva que empieza a mutar hasta alcanzar proporciones gigantescas. The only difference between this and any other TV movie with animals is the decent technical aspect and the actors. Otherwise, it’s just the same old stuff that’s neither scary nor tense, and it’s not even fun due to its decent craftsmanship. The only moment I laughed was when the scientist meets face to face with its eight-legged giant creature and says with emotion “You’re so beautiful”. Other than that, it’s mostly boring. If only it didn’t take itself so seriously. 30 %
