I haven’t seen such awfully ugly exteriors in a long time. Sure, it’s a cheap Canadian B-movie and there was no money for spectacle, but The Colony is sometimes so ugly to look at that it’s annoying. In any case, if we ignore the ugly visuals, the only thing left is a generic horror movie full of clichés with nothing interesting. It starts boring, ends as an average watchable snack.
