Sinopsis(1)

español Irreversible me gustó. ()

inglés They said it was one of those movies that would balance on the borderline of tolerance in the world cinematography. I appreciate primarily the music part to which Thomas Bengalter from the band Daft Punk again put great care. I appreciate the idea to come up with a story told from the end. The rest is pure art, and I don’t know why I should like that. ()

inglés At the end, there remains the provocation of the audience on the theme of "who didn't look away" and the obvious question of whether the film should be an extreme test of endurance. Definitely not for me, and therefore I don't know why Noé made such a collection of cruelty, I don't know what he wanted to say, and I don't like at all the way he tries to differentiate himself from the mainstream. Surprisingly, despite the negative approach towards the audience, the screenplay tries to touch people's souls at several moments. It is perverted in its suggestiveness and in the fact that you won't see similar scenes elsewhere. Despite the self-centeredness of the reversed narrative approach, I acknowledge a certain quality, the specificity of the form, and the distinctiveness. But when it comes to voting on the principles of this endeavor, don't count me in. ()

inglés The basic message is primitive: violence is bad, yes. Everything else is just filler hanging on a formal pun, which ultimately degenerated into the fact that everyone must have heard something at some point about Monica Bellucci (an absolute goddess at the time) filming a very naturalistic rape scene. But the point of why this was so has been lost in the rumor mill. Such a process is irreversibly odd and the overall project is therefore useless and the uproar around it downright empty. And there was somehow going to be a groundbreaking film told backwards in 2002? Nobody believes that. ()

A naši distributoři, nechť si sáhnou do svědomí anebo pořídí francouzsko-český slovník! ()

inglés I have to say that the rape scene really shook me up. And with whom wouldn't it... Gaspar Noé is crazy, but that person knows how to make a film that leaves you not indifferent. I must admit that this scene is the centerpiece of the film and its meaning. In addition to that, the reversed chronology of the storytelling. It only makes understanding more difficult, but it does have its purpose with the penultimate scene. Well, some scenes cannot be forgotten, and this one will haunt me. ()

inglés If the main goal of this film was merely to shock, it probably succeeded admirably. The two "twisted" scenes are very powerful and brutal, but in the end they are the only thing you remember from the film – the other content is more or less boring. Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because I haven't experienced such a depressing feeling in a long time. ()
