Set in 2670 A.D., an idyllic society of man and ape is threatened by both a militant gorilla (Akins) and a tribe of still-intelligent mutant humans. Well, it's clear that the creators were already struggling and didn't know where to go next. I think the new digital version will be interesting in this direction, but I'm quite glad that the original series ended with this battle because there was nothing more to tell, at least not in this low-budget action style. It is definitely the worst installment of the whole series.
