There is Earth, our familiar world, and then there is the Black World, a parallel dimension that very few are aware of. For centuries, a pact between the two worlds has been observed to maintain peace, but terms must be renegotiated to continue the relative harmony. I'm giving it a little extra because I really liked the animation, not to mention that even the rough scenes are animated very well and thoughtfully executed. Overall, the film has a fantastic dark atmosphere that I thoroughly enjoyed, and even though the story may not dazzle, it's still good.
