Sinopsis(1)

The story is great, the new characters are good, the monkey language was fun and the beginnings of television have never been portrayed so funny. If the story didn’t stumble so much in the second half and they didn’t repeat the same morals over and over again, it could have been better than excellent. And Cage’s unhinged voice acting is awesome. ()

inglés The Croods: A New Age is a properly brisk spectacle, brimming with a wealth of ideas and colourful animation, and the creators have set no boundaries in terms of imagination. Even though the film offers nothing particularly new in terms of story and the writers may have tried a little too hard to be didactic in places, it is a supremely cute and non-violently funny animated film that had me laughing out loud more than once – the communal dinner, the grandmother sleeping with her eyes open, the crazy series of gouged out eyes or the physical language of the "busters". Who would have guessed that there would be another animated film besides Minions where bananas would play such an important role. If the film is successful and the filmmakers have another imaginative and humorous adventure on hand, I wouldn't be at all opposed to a third installment. ()

inglés Compared to the first film, this one is more complex. There are many more conflicts, and they tie in well with each other. I dare say that the film is funnier because the humour is punchy and comes more from the situations than the dialogue. The second half of the film wasn't so much fun and it was topped off by the text describing the "characters", without which the whole ending could have been completely dispensed with. I must also give a positive assessment of the monkey talk, which is aptly complemented by the subtitles. The film does a great job of depicting various stereotypes in the family and society in general, yet it doesn't make the characters too stylized. Overall, I enjoyed the film and I think it's a very well done film. I would put both films on the same level, as they don't outdo each other and don't really try to. The fifth star was taken away by the repetitive gags and the previously mentioned text in the picture. ()

inglés It looked like Soul was going to be the animated film of the year, but I managed to catch up with the Croods and it's decided. After Zootropolis, The Croods 2 is for me without a doubt the best animated film ever. There are new characters living in paradise and the differences between modern and stone age are very good. I found the cadence of the humour here to be about twice more intense than in the first film, and the scene where the son pulls the couch with food up to the big window thinking he's going to watch a movie cracked me up. Beautiful, sweet, funny, bloody entertaining and with lots of interesting ideas. It fit me incredibly well. Story****, Action****, Humor*****, Violence>No, Entertainment*****, Music****, Visual*****, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 9/10. ()
