Muy poco erotismo y nada de terror en una supuesta película de terror erótico. El conocido cineasta europeo Jesús Franco apuesta esta vez más por una trama y unos personajes más sólidos que por escenas autocomplacientes y excitantes. La cuestión es qué se considera una trama más sólida según sus estándares, y si alguna de sus películas puede ser atractiva sin estas escenas. Si es así, desde luego Las vampiras no lo son. Aunque las dos actrices protagonistas son divertidísimas.

With Vampyros Lesbos, Jesús Franco simply showed that he has made a lot of movies, and enjoyed filming women's breasts, but didn't really give it any genuinely interesting form.
