En la gran pantalla esta aventura Ninjago, la batalla por la Ciudad Ninjago reclama la intervención de Lloyd, conocido como el Ninja Verde, junto con sus amigos, todos guerreros secretos y LEGO maestros constructores. Guiados por el maestro de Kung-Fu, Wu, divertido a la par que sabio, deben derrotar al malvado señor de la guerra Garmadon, el peor hombre del mundo, que además resulta ser el padre de Lloyd. En una batalla pieza contra pieza y padre contra hijo, el épico enfrentamiento pondrá a prueba a este feroz pero indisciplinado equipo de nuevos ninjas que debe aprender a controlar su ego y aunar sus esfuerzos para desatar su verdadero poder.
