Sinopsis(1)

Año 320 de la era de Pars, la guerra está en el horizonte. Mientras los soldados de Parsifales se preparan para la batalla, un traidor dentro de sus filas cambia el rumbo a favor del reino enemigo de Lusitania. Arslan, el joven principal de Pars, sobrevívela la masacre para descubrir que su padre ha desaparecido y su vida están grave peligro. Inseguro en quien confiar, Arslan escapa del campo de batalla, evadiendo la captura hasta que es encontrado por su leal amigo Daryun, el formidable “Caballero Negro” de Pars. La pareja decide emprender un viaje para devolver al príncipe así lugar legítimo en el trono de Pars. En el camino se encontrarán a numerosos aliados como Narsus, estratega y pintos; Farangis, sacerdotisa y arqueóloga; o Gieve, poeta y juglar. (Japan Weekend Anime)

Season 1 (2015) (S01) 

inglés The Heroic Legend of Arslan is more or less exactly what I expected. Compared to the original 1991 adaptation, it has been dressed up in some fine new clothes and given more sophisticated characters. So, Daryun really is an incredible dude, and prince Arslan himself starts off as quite a wimp, which gives him more room to develop and grow as a person as the narrative develops. Narsus is even more of a bishounen, and Elam does not look quite as girlie anymore. Lord Silvermask appears to be much more frightening and is much more powerful, and then Gieve is a bit more of a pervert (although what do you expect from a bard but a propensity towards wine, women and songs?). Farangis is portrayed as a very curvaceous sexy individual... In other words, I like this adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan much better than the original, and even though I knew where the narrative was heading I still really enjoyed it. 8/10. ()

Fúdžin ranbu (2016) (S02) 

inglés Season two was at least as good as the first season, full of all sorts of unexpected twists and changes with good characters, lots of fight scenes and battles, plus some strategy. Let us be honest, this follow-up is really good, and the fact that the second season has only eight episodes does not spoil the impression I got, quite the opposite, because the pacing is very good. Also, the plot does not falter, and there is always something going on. I am very satisfied with the result, and I am looking forward to the third season. 8.2/10. ()
