inglés An enjoyable parody of Bond films in a purely British style. But with almost no humour. It doesn't impress, it entertains, the film embarrasses itself a few times, and it thrills in about three moments. Ideal harmless average, perfect for TV. ()

inglés A slightly different Rowan Atkinson in a battle with the cunning accent of John Malkovich. The accuracy of shooting sometimes falters on the very edge, but the moments when the clever jokes fit together with full force are really worth it. "Thank you for the music..." ()

inglés This film had such poor reviews and the reception from film fans was so hesitant at its premiere that I avoided it and only watched it on TV after several years. Perhaps precisely because I had no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. The result, to be sure, is not dazzling and there are certainly much better films in the genre, nevertheless, it suffices for about 60% of the overall impression. With the film "Bean" I truly suffered at times, Johnny is at least a class better. The film suffers from inconsistency, but silent moments are alternated with truly funny moments and, above all- Atkinson is not only capable of Bean's grimaces, his acting range is much wider. ()

inglés “He knows no fear. He knows no danger. He knows nothing” The film pokes fun at English agents in a rather humorous way, and Rowan Atkinson gives the British Secret Service a whole new dimension. It was funny to watch the merry-go-round of English's blunders that start at the beginning of the film and don’t stop during the end credits. There was a deaf spot here and there – and yes, Atkinson is more suited to short gags like in Mr. Bean – but I still enjoy watching the escapades of Britain's most inept agent from time to time. ()

inglés I thought, or rather remembered the film as being quite funny. In the English version, I found that the only thing that's really funny here is Malkovich's English with a crazy French accent. Johnny English's character is so interchangeable that it's not even nice, and the film can be very disappointing in terms of comedy. ()
