The flightless angry birds and the scheming green piggies take their beef to the next level in The Angry Birds Movie 2! When a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger, Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck's sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with pigs Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and tech pig Garry (Sterling K. The Angry Birds Movie 2 tries to do nothing more than entertain, especially the kids, as there are not many adult jokes and innuendos. The whole plot is basically one big cliché with little to surprise, but it flows along nicely and for the trio of birds on an egg hunt, the bird disguise and the soundtrack full of well-known hits, the film deserves the average three stars.

Although the second installment of Angry Birds is similar in style to number one, it is slightly better. Just like before, the humor didn't quite work for me, as it was obviously intended for younger audiences, so I laughed only occasionally. Things were improved by the new mission and cooperation with their arch enemies.

I watched it half-heartedly between three screaming kids, but the scene in the toilet where the guard gets pissed on and then smashed against the sink and urinal with his access card really got to me.
