Bella Brown (Jessica Brown Findlay) es una peculiar joven que sueña con escribir cuentos para niños. Es huérfana, tiene TOC, un jefe horrible en la biblioteca y mucho miedo a la naturaleza, pero Bella sigue adelante. Cuando su casero la obliga a encargarse del descuidado jardín conocerá a Alfie Stephenson (Tom Wilkinson), un anciano viudo, rico y gruñón quien resulta ser un increíble jardinero. I was looking forward to a nice film experience reminiscent of the best of Amelie but unfortunately the main character here is totally bland. The only interesting moments are in the library, where this autistic woman gives every visitor a very detailed advice as to where everything is located, and where she arrives late every day. But when she’s at home, it’s all very boring. An example of wasted potential.
