inglés Watching Farmageddon, I couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance to Chicken Little, at least in terms of the little alien storyline. The film offers more than a few humorous, imaginative, and action-packed scenes that will keep you entertained and energized, but it is primarily a product aimed at a younger audience. As a result, it is a pleasantly made animated piece for one viewing, which does not amaze, but does not offend either. ()

inglés In terms of situational gags, it’s certainly weaker than its predecessor, but Aardman triumphs again with the boundless joy that shapes this fictional world of plasticine and the way they tell a story to viewers of all possible age categories. Every single scene has some influence in later twists or jokes, which sometimes come with a long delay (maybe until the demolition of the shopping mall, when I turned off my attention) and, at a tremendous pace, the creators manage to follow three groups of characters whose lines are imaginatively intertwined towards a traditionally action-packed ending (which this time is not as original and dramatic as the previous one). Another thing that works flawlessly and naturally is the way they packs all sorts of movie and cultural references into a straightforward plot – in the first five minutes alone I picked at least five that cleverly foreshadow the turn towards science fiction (e.g. thes H.G. Wells garage –  the name of the author of “War of the Worlds” immediately tuned me to the right note). You can’t argue with that, and I’m already looking forward to the next film escapade of this funny gang. 75% ()

inglés Okay, Aardman, I'm going to pretend that Rex the Runt never came into existence, because Shaun's second film is great again. A fantastic slapstick comedy full of all sorts of references and fun for all – kids have fun and adults have fun as kids (for real, no pun intended), the humor is far from just about someone screaming or hitting the ground with their feet, and the cute alien really wins you over. I'll be happiest if they are already working on another movie. ()
