Una bala en la cabeza

Un excelente drama, de temática similar al clásico El cazador. Personajes elaborados, entornos que cambian constantemente, muchas escenas impactantes que te harán temblar las manos y una gran acción tanto en interiores como en exteriores. Es una película un poco larga, pero también una adecuadamente RICA. Rica en todo, incluida una historia profunda y emociones fuertes. Mi máxima calificación se le escapa sólo por un pelo. The brilliantly filmed story of three friends who, through unfortunate circumstances, find themselves in war-torn Saigon and their friendship is put to the test by the extraordinary and incomprehensible brutality of war. Woo brilliantly combined the dynamic action film made in Hong Kong and a psychological drama, which is surprisingly very good in the film. He thereby created something that will stick in your head not only through excellent action scenes, but also with the surprising power of the characters and their ailing fates. Indeed, Bullet in the Head has all the features of the "fast" Hong Kong school, but in addition to shooting, it can also strike the soul with its rawness and openness in depicting real brutality that overshadows mere cinematic action. My joy was only spoiled by an overly action-based conclusion, which in my eyes favored effect over thought. Which is quite a shame. (13.04.2004)
