inglés What a big surprise this film was! Since I didn’t know much about it beforehand, during the first twenty minutes I was pleasantly curious about what would happen next. And what a joy it was to see that someone had finally fulfilled my wish and chose the topic of Nazi experiments, one that offers innumerable possibilities for the horror genre. The entire film is permeated by a good atmosphere and there are even some effective jump-scares at the beginning. Most of the story takes place in an abandoned underground military base, which helps a lot. Outpost joins the group of successful new English horror, it has many elements of it, like the cold northern rawness of Wilderness, for instance. Recommended, 65%. ()

inglés An uninteresting horror B-movie that wastes a good premise in the most reprehensible way. Just the mention of Nazi experiments sends a chill down my spine while I imagine the most depraved and cruel of human actions, but Steve Barker, despite having a story with an interesting idea and a clearly stated goal, failed to put half as much of a horror face on the material as I would have expected. The first two acts are uninteresting and tedious, but at least they keep the viewer's attention thanks to the growing anticipation towards the key twist, which is spiced up by a few interesting deaths and one surviving “guinea pig". But as bored as I was throughout the film, I found the ending utterly annoying and watching the mindless shooting of an army of immortal soldiers was a major screw-up from Barker after the carefully constructed atmosphere. Disappointing, with the exception of Brett's pretty good score there really isn't much worth mentioning. ()

inglés "The Death Bunker" is not a film that utilizes the theme of Nazis so brilliantly, there are certainly better films in terms of the horror genre (such as "Dead Snow", maybe because it is more comedic), but I still think that "The Death Bunker" is a good movie. Although it doesn't stand out from the average, it is a British horror that entertained me, where I felt that it was not just an attempt to quantitatively contribute to the genre. ()
