Sinopsis(1)
Dos presidiarios, Choro y Cortaojos, se escapan de la cárcel Torre Bruno con la intención de cobrar una deuda millonaria de su antiguo socio, Vicuña. En su camino se encuentran con un Iciar, una chica aparentemente ingenua a la que deciden secuestrar. Para esta sed de venganza los dos presos consiguen las armas necesarias para enfrentarse contra su traidor, pero lo que no sabían es que Vicuña ha formado una secta que esta al frente de una terrorífica invasión alienígena. If the ratio of very funny moments (Ode to Joy!) to the downright embarrassing ones wasn't so balanced, I wouldn't hesitate with a higher rating.

Overall, a funny splatter comedy with one TOP scene, but also several short segments that almost made me feel sorry for the creators. Mucha Sangre is pretty decent overall, but I’m not crazy about it.

The film "Mucha sangre" has the potential to become a cult film, but despite its promising start, it quickly loses momentum and by the end, it feels like a bit of a letdown that doesn't really grab the viewer. It's a shame because it really seemed like a successor to Peter Jackson's best years, especially in horror. However, there are still some great scenes to be found here.
