In the near future, a virus of epic proportions has overtaken the planet. There are more Infected than Uninfected, and humanity is losing its grip on survival. Its only hope is finding a cure. After the fall of New York, Lauren – a doctor – has come to Los Angeles to lead the charge in the hunt for Uninfected survivors, and rescue her family barricaded in their LA home. Lauren's objective is simple: lead her team into the field and rescue survivors, filming their experiences so it can be used for research. But nothing could have prepared them for the mayhem they walk into. As they search for Uninfected, fend off the Infected with whatever weapons they can find, and fight for their lives, we see everything from their point of view – directly from their helmet cameras. It isn’t as bad as you might think at first glance. I didn’t expect anything from the movie and the outcome is that I got a number of nice scenes from a first-person perspective, which has already been done by Hardcore Henry, but I haven’t seen it before watching this movie. Don’t look for a story in this movie, look for action, which really isn’t shot badly at all.

It can be from any point of view, but this movie simply cannot hide that it does not have what it takes to tell a truly new story, but simply repeats what has already been repeated so many times. This is nothing more than a survival film featuring zombies or something very similar to them. A bit boring.
