Bajo el título 'Cuentos asombrosos', el prestigioso realizador Steven Spielberg dirige una serie de televisión entre 1985 y 1987 para la NBC. Un compendio de dos temporadas da lugar a una serie que bebe del espíritu de exitosos programas como 'Dimensión Desconocida' (dirigida por Rod Serling y emitida de 1959 al 1964). En este caso, la creación de Spielberg toma el nombre de una revista de ciencia ficción de los años veinte. (United International Pictures)

The creation of short stories with funny points has a long tradition in Anglo-American works, and within this competition, this series comes across as quite average. Its main weakness is the considerable inconsistency of the individual episodes, which is caused by the fact that a whole range of directors contributed to it. Slight ironic exaggeration prevails, and it is typical that the individual episodes mostly end with a happy ending, despite their horror setting, creating a rather relaxed atmosphere. Overall impression: 55%.
