Un batiburrillo de locas escenas cómicas, eróticas e indefinibles, que en su conjunto sorprendentemente tiene sentido y sobre todo tiene un gran clímax «antirromántico».

Bizarre. Very bizarre. Even for Asia. But also original. Very original. Even for Asia. But Tsai’s artsy masturbation over the taste of melons didn’t appeal to me at all. The whole time I couldn’t help feeling that I was watching the cut scenes section and not at the movie itself. But at least the musical scenes hold its head above water, not letting it drown in tedious boredom. They represent if nothing else an absurdly bizarre moment of tension. But what would you expect?

I watched The Wayward Cloud based on a recommendation and also because I like watermelons. It's just that after the opening watermelon scene, there was nothing interesting going on. Basically, it just alternates between lengthy scenes with no dialogue and erotic ones. The musical interludes, the point of which somehow escaped me, didn't appeal to me either. The ending was quite original, but I don't watch movies for the ending. 1.5 stars.

Oceňuji originalitu, která čiší téměř z každého záběru. Prvních deset minut je špičkových. Meloun je moje nejoblíbenější zelenina, za letošní rok jsem ho snědl několik desítek kil, mohl bych se jej ujíst. A kombinace melounu s erotikou je ta nejlepší kombinace. Hudební a taneční sekvence úchvatné, netušil jsem, že by se mi mohli líbit pohupkavájící a zpívající Číňané. Závěr byl trošku už přehnaný, přesto ještě jednou zdůrazňuji, že originalitou pan režisér překypuje.
