When they aren’t singing those intrusive and superfluous songs, it is a passable Shrek movie. But when Russel Crowe, well, Maximus, is on screen, it’s excellent.

Wow, Disney still knows how to do something like this? Such beautiful hair, such beautiful eyes, such a beautiful princess, and such a beautiful storyline! The movie revolved around the hair and yet it was magical. It missed that 5th star really just by a hair.

A modern veneer, but a real Disney movie at heart. It took me back to the days when my mother fed me one fairytale after another, and I'll tell you, I kind of miss those days. Everything always turns out well in this movie. And the perfect supporting characters, "the horse" and "the chameleon", had me captivated. The action scenes are breathtaking, the Prince of Persia can’t compare with Flynn and the romance makes every frozen heart beat hard again. For women and young ladies Tangled is a safe bet, and for men this is a snappy-lined action spectacle with a pretty blonde beating bad guys over the head with a frying pan. Well, a fake reputation is all a man has.

Disney as we know it - only in 3D. Everything I like and don't like about Disney fairy tales can be found in Tangled. Perfect characters - both human and animal (I want a dog horse!!), a simple but well-written story with a reasonable amount of humor (aimed at children and adults) and romance, good music and some stunningly catchy songs. On the other hand, I've always been a bit averse to animated films in which the characters sing, and that was part of the problem with this film. The thing that bothered me the most was the hugely super-romantic duet in the boat - a scene that, I think, pretty much messed up my diabetes for a few minutes because of how sweet it was. Still, four and a half stars, it was nice.

The materialized evolution of the Disney tradition. It would need a richer plot and fewer musical numbers in the first half to be flawless, but otherwise manages to perfectly incorporate all the popular motifs while applying modern crazy humour like the second Shrek. The stallion Maximus is way better than Donkey... 85%

It's another Disney production, so brace yourself for the inevitable dose of songs and dances. But hey, even after all these years, I still had a pretty good time with it. I enjoyed it more the first time, though. Nevertheless, the tale of a girl with hair that could tempt any wig maker to lick their eyebrows in delight managed to elicit a few laughs from me. My absolute favorite character turned out to be the law enforcer Maximus, and the journey to the inevitably happy ending kept me entertained for the most part. / Lesson learned: When it comes to choosing weapons, opt for a frying pan. If you find yourself in Japan, then binoculars should be your second choice. 3*+

I don't give it as much as "Frozen" (I gave that 100%, "Tangled" 90%), but still, it's an animated film that absolutely amazed me. It was an amazing experience in the cinema, and even now, watching it for the second time in a home environment, it's something beautiful that greatly improves your mood. Of course, you will mainly remember the chameleon and a lot of hair from this film, but it's more than what most other movies you see leave in you. And those emotions are simply beautiful. In this edition, even the happy endings will make you fall in love.
