Jurassic World: Dominion

Después de El reino caído, salí del cine enfadado, después de esta basura me fui resignado. La promesa de un alboroto de dinosaurios en la civilización prácticamente no se cumple, porque la película, salvo en unas pocas escenas, vuelve a transcurrir en una reserva cerrada donde algo sale mal, y los dinosaurios prácticamente no interfieren en la trama. Toda la Dominion se compone de subtramas poco interesantes basadas la mayor parte del tiempo en puras coincidencias, motivaciones de personajes completamente aleatorias, constante ignorancia de las leyes de la física, molesto servicio de fans barato, y, por último, pero no menos importante, un montaje extraño que constantemente y artificialmente da a los personajes una ventaja sobre los lagartos ultrarrápidos, y lo más importante, están las manos mágicas de Chris Pratt que pueden detener cualquier ataque en cualquier momento. ¡Magia absoluta! Incluso todos los actores parecen estar aburridos y molestos, así que ¿cómo no voy a estar aburrido y molesto? Objetivamente, es más o menos para 1 estrella, subjetivamente me he dejado influir por el regreso de los viejos conocidos, especialmente por Jeff Goldblum, que se luce glosando las idioteces que aparecen en la película, así que tal vez con el tiempo llegaré a darle 2 estrellas, pero serían dos por los pelos. Pero no vamos a engañarnos, la otrora mágica y majestuosa franquicia de los dinosaurios ha caído en picado y es prácticamente un pelotazo de taquilla barato. Y si alguna vez se hace una reunión del reparto original del Parque Jurásico, debería ser en una película mejor que esta. (16.06.2022)

El regreso de los protagonistas del primer Parque Jurásico fue agradable, ya que siguen siendo científicos simpáticos que aman a los dinosaurios. Atraer al espectador a un mundo del que los dinosaurios ya forman parte es genial. La película tiene un buen comienzo con la guarida del traficante en Malta y la larga escena de acción que tiene lugar allí. La persecución en tejados y motos por las calles, como las que conocemos de las películas de Bourne y Bond, mejorada con velociraptores... ¡por qué no! Pero el resto de la película, en la que solo somos transportados a una reserva diferente a la de la primera película, es un reciclado pesado de lo que ya hemos visto, y no es muy emocionante, con el villano disfuncional de Tim Cook, apoyos lógicos y tonterías indignas de esta franquicia cinematográfica. Y la única escena fantásticamente rodada, que recuerda a Spielberg (la zambullida en el estanque). Y, lamentablemente, es una escena corta. El episodio más flojo de toda la serie. (08.06.2022)

The conclusion of the dinosaur trilogy will be a commercial success. Disappointment prevails among the critics, but I am satisfied. For my money, it's certainly more entertaining and engaging than the sequel, which as is usual with sequels that are just filler for the finale. The first hour impresses in the form of news, where the dinosaurs get to our civilization and their way of living with us, this entertained me a lot. The plot then moves to Malta, where the film incidentally climaxes with a half hour action dinosaur romp, quite possibly the best dinosaur action sequence ever, though it is all too similar to Bond or MI, but a motherfucking ride nonetheless. The finale is about 40 minutes long and it's properly spectacular, there's a horror atmosphere conjured up in places (the mutant locusts are great), there are plenty of genetically modified dinosaurs which I welcomed, the central little girl isn't annoying, the nostalgia and emotion works, and, most importantly, it reminded me of my favourite PS1 game “Dino Crisis 2” in the locations, the action and the detail, which I ran through about 15 times as a kid and I take it as a tribute. A few things could have been done better, but what the hell, it's the only dinosaur franchise that's quality and there's definitely no competition anytime soon. I enjoyed it. Story 3/5. This is the recycling of the dinosaur movies where all the good has gone down the drain, leaving an unpleasant concentration of what is wrong with the Hollywood factory. The lazy script follows the same pattern for the sixth time, completely ignoring all the possibilities offered by the prehistoric monsters that are spread all over the planet. The joining of the new party with the old one features no surprises or a single spark. The parental theme is boring, and the only really full-blooded character is Kayla Watts (who maybe should have filled the quota, but she's a well-written and well-acted pilot)… Other than that it all goes on forever for two and a half hours. At the end, Ian Malcolm starts to spout a few catchphrases and unbuttons his shirt, and that’s about it. If it wasn't for the dessert in the form of the eaten guy on the electric scooter, which honestly made me laugh for about 5 minutes, I would award it the maximum misery. (29.06.2022)

A totally unworkable plot of repetitive action scenes that jumps like a flea only to finally retell what has been told several times before, but in a much more clumsy and emotionless way. The screenplay is a disaster, the direction of the action scenes follows the Bourne Bond axis, but it is not very skilled at that either. In the end, it's a mix of cluttered dinosaur MMA and Sir Attenborough having a severe stroke. (08.06.2022)
