Un tema original que refleja la obsesión de los jóvenes por triunfar en la competencia de identidades del mundo artificial online, y formalmente bien tratado. Pero por eso esperaba que desarrollara una trama conspirativa más amplia con un final más dramático. Al final, la película es más bien un combate psicológico íntimo de un personaje adolescente con una realidad descarrilada, cuyos desplantes psicológicos no me interesan mucho como espectador. An erotic techno thriller that quite nicely works with suspense. In normal circumstances I would say that the premise is quite fitting for America with its total naivete, had it not been for the recently produced documentary Caught in the Net, which is similar in its premise and goes to even greater extremes. A girl from live chat behaved in a quite thrilling way at the beginning and not because you expect her to make up a lot of different stuff in front of the camera but because of the mysticism that starts to happen in the second half of the movie. And what’s more all of this is quite absurd for an ordinary viewer but for those who work with the internet or create programs it is a daily routine and they can confirm that the worst scenario is when your identity is stolen on the internet, so this movie is worth thinking about. This is a very nice surprise that is more thriller than horror, but that doesn't matter here. The story revolves around the beautiful Lola, who earns her money through erotic webcam shows and tries to move up in the rankings. Unfortunately, someone steals her identity, taking almost everything from her and Lola doesn't like that. It's very original, colourful, quite smart, funny, decently acted, disturbing and mysterious at the same time, and above all it is exciting and sexy, something the gentlemen will enjoy, as there are plenty of butts and boobs. The finale is very nicely set up and the only thing that bothered me was that we don't get answers to certain questions. Netflix has been pedaling on the gas incredibly towards the end of the year and has improved significantly since January. Good job. 75% (19.11.2018)

A neon Kafkaesque tale set in the webcam tease business, it ponders nothing less than the value of the identity of the people who choose to put it on public display and earn some of those virtual dollars. The film is briskly shot, surprising, and as a result I didn't mind that it didn't thoroughly explain why and how everything that happened happened, but dealt mostly with what caused it and how to get out of it (if such a thing is possible). A brilliant portrayal of the degenerate generation 0, to which unfortunately I belong and must cope bravely with the fact that many pretty girls would rather undress in front of the camera than in front of me. The colourful format is fitting and the heroine’s gradual fall into despair and the literal loss of her identity are surpassed only by the fact that we don’t wish her anything good. From a purely logical perspective, perhaps it doesn’t make sense at times, but who gives a damn when they manage to smear major faults and threats of today’s anonymous internet community in such a credible and interesting way. Girls, dress nicely, throw away your mobiles and go back to the village balls, after all, you may end up undressing for the raffle, too. ;) (12.02.2020)

El giro se produce cuando la identidad virtual de Alice es reclamada por su misteriosa doble. Cam es un thriller de terror inteligente, enérgico, sexy y, sobre todo, muy fresco, que pone de manifiesto el entorno de la prestación de servicios eróticos en las webcams, y aporta una mirada escalofriante a la moderna amenaza de Internet. Thriller visualmente atractivo y escandalosamente sexy sobre una chica que se expone en la cámara, que se financia al transmitir su programa erótico en línea en Internet, donde intenta tener éxito en numerosos concursos y ganar la mayor cantidad de espectadores posible. Pero luego una misteriosa pareja le roba su perfil y por ende su oficio del día a día y poco a poco comienza a robarle su privacidad… Una visión notable, comprensiva y abierta de la vida de las niñas, que no dudan en exponerse y prostituirse de facto en la web con usuarios anónimos, está filmada de forma sorprendentemente dinámica y con un sentido de humor negro además de la extravagancia de algunas desviaciones sexuales que los creadores comentan inteligentemente sobre el estado actual de la vida en Internet y los servicios de transmisión. La eficaz trama también está bien realizada, en la cual la protagonista se convierte en víctima de una especie de conspiración diabólica, que lamentablemente, permanece sin explicación, por lo que quién causó la conspiración y cómo lo logró son preguntas que son un misterio dejadas a la libre interpretación. En la actualidad, sin duda, un tema relevante y extremadamente actual durante la pandemia. La mayoría de las actividades las personas las realizan en casa, incluyendo aquellas más provocativas y servicios similares que se muestran en la película, probablemente el viento sopla a favor. No conocí a Madeline Brewer, porque luce completamente diferente a como en Orange is the new black, me gustó su actuación. El guion fue aceptable, aunque la tensión podría haber sido un poco mayor. It's very brisk, very topical, and at times very sexy (in every respect). It's very likely that you'll feel rather more of a dislike for the main character at the beginning and then you’ll root for her all the more. The poor thing. A film for the undemanding viewer who doesn't know what to do with a busy evening. Solid entertainment. (25.10.2020)
